Mr Awad made me feel very confident in my choice of sleeve gastrectomy surgeons, from the first telephone conversation where everything was covered and all my questions answered,right through to my surgery on 14th April at Burcott Hall.i had no worries or concerns going into theatre as he is very thorough in explaining what to expect.i totally felt at ease and happily walked myself into theatre that day.post operative healing has been great and I am recovering very well.i would reccomend Mr Awad hands down to anyone considering this type of surgery, he is a very skilled surgeon wirh a great bedside manner and thoroughly deserves this great review.i will be eternally grateful to him.

Mr. Awad and his secretary Sarah have gone above and beyond at every stage of the process to deliver, fast, effective and highly competent care. I was under the care of Mr. Awad for Gallbladder Removal surgery at Derby Private Health. All the checks were thorough and everything was well and clearly explained. I had clear expectations on my care and Mr. Awad even pushed for an earlier date as he knew how much I was suffering. Mr. Awad came to see me whilst still in recovery, on the ward later that day and called in the evening too to check on how I was. Mr. Awad was known to me on recommendation from the bariatric community and Tonic Weight loss. Everyone speaks incredibly highly of him and his care and expertise. Mr. Awad, I cannot thank you enough and I couldn't recommend him highly enough.

Mr Awad and the Tonic team have been superb from start to post op. They shared so much information along the way that I had very little questions. On the morning of surgery Mr Awad put me at ease, told me exactly what to expect on the day so there was no surprises. His follow up call has been great and super encouraging. I trusted him, I listened to everything he told me and I followed his pre op to the letter. I had no complications and have recovered amazingly. He truly is fantastic and thanks to him and Tonic I now have my life back. I can not Thank You enough

I had a gastric sleeve with Dr Awad on 25/02/23 at Burcothall Hospital. I found Dr Awad and his team to be very friendly and approachable. Dr Awad was very informative and I was well advised. I am nearing 8 weeks post op and have no complications nor complaints. I would highly recommend him to others considering gastric surgery.
